Welcome to Madison Grey Photography!
My name is Mike Huynh, and I’m a photographer located in the Houston, Texas area. My passion for photography has been a life long journey, from picking up a camera and snapping my first picture (it was a picture of our family Christmas tree), to seeing pictures that inspired me growing up to now taking and creating art that tells stories that hopefully inspires those that experience it.
Currently, I specialize in portrait, nature and landscape photography, which allows me and my wife, Violet, to travel to new places and learn about the story, history and background of the photographs I take. My goal is to create stunning pieces of art by carefully composing images with meaning and depth.
In addition to photography and traveling, Violet and I are big foodies. Just like photography, being a foodie allows us to learn and experience new places and cultures. We have a 12 year old German Shepherd mix rescue named Chloe. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and to learn more about me. Please feel free to contact me with any special requests, questions or feedback.
Madison Grey
Madison Grey Photography was created and named in memory of our daughter who we lost to stillbirth in 2021. We wanted to honor her memory and create a lasting legacy of how she touched our hearts and what she meant to us.
We hope that through our art and photographs, a piece of Madison Grey touches and impacts you in a positive and meaningful way.
Creating powerful stories through photography.
I’ve always been drawn to photography and art…pausing to take in photographs and taking a moment to transport myself to what I’m seeing and then asking myself what the person behind the lens was thinking.
As Ansel Adams so eloquently stated, “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.” Life moves fast, and photography is one way for me to slow down and truly appreciate the gift of the moment.
